References to our organizations and its assets or services within this document may include the terms “us” “we” or “ours”.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

User comments may be enabled on this site.  If so, when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, phone number, email. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by our systems. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses.
This information is used for the operation of our services, to maintain quality of the services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of this website. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

We may share some data with Google.  The Google privacy policy are incorporated herein by reference as an integral part of these terms. Other platforms and third-party members may also set cookies or otherwise collect data to help us provide better user experiences.  Additional policies are referenced within this document and are also an integral part of same.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.  We do not sell your email address to third parties.  Portions of your data may be used by third-parties to aid us in supporting your account and any services you have opted to interact with.

How we protect your data

When you communicate with us through this website, your data is encrypted on both ends and is secured by the use of Secure Socket Layer Certificates.  We monitor the site for any malfeasance and regularly update modules and scripts used.  We have additional security measures in place to further safeguard your data.

Should we be aware a data breach has occurred, we will act swiftly to mitigate the breach and advise you of such breach, as warranted.

This site and any content herein is not intended for use of children under 13 without parental guidance and supervision.  We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 without the parent’s explicit consent.
